I'm 35 and work as an ouside sales rep for a body filler manufacturer. I got into cars through my Dad. He was into British cars MG's and Land Rovers. I got into hot rods purely by accident. I picked up a copy of Rod and Custom at a newsstand and was looking through it. Saw a picture of a Custom 49-51 Merc and was hooked. Thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Bought a 1953 GMC pickup at a Auction and began fixing it up but it was to far gone for my abilities at the time so I sold it and bought my 37 Chev which was in better shape body wise. Me and my Dad had been working on it for a number of years together until he passed awway last year and now I'm slowly trying to get it finished.
