As a teenager in 1950's,No one was going to buy me a cool car,so I made it,it would of not been as cool if they had RIGHT?.
I payed 4 my rod's by doing airbrush t-shirts,names on cars and some striping at rod & custom shows in the southeast as "THE BAT",I never did do any of them screen print deals,just one off's each time,my little cartoons masscots were Gatorbat and Spider. The other guys like Roth were smarter from a bizz stand point and went to screen prints and just added a name and some color for high out put!
Over 400 race car wins in many types of cars over the years at race tracks all over east US,but mostly Fla.
I'll never like these new ideas of bare metal,rust,bullet holes,dents,flat paint or patina as a finel finish,it was never anything but stuff that needed fixing ASAP.
