- Started building a flathead powered front-engined dragster. Then got distracted with dreams of a H.A.M.B. Gas Rail. Then was distracted with drag race photography. Did I mention that I'm easily distracted?
Drag raced a '53 Ford in an AHRA "stock" flathead class. Held the AHRA mph national record for several years. My interest in flatheads resurfaced after my kids were grown. Lately, I've realized none of my automotive projects will ever get done, so I sold my dragster and turned my attention to model railroading. I still have a back shelf interest in hot rods, though.Interact
