Been hot rodding for 38years ,making me 63 had the same ol 37 ford coupe since 85. Got married in it ( still with the same girl) carried the kids in the back rebuilt it twice. Other cars have come and gone but the stable is full at present. Flatheads and Y blocks seem to rule though the odd newer motor seems to creep in(maybe gettin older and seeking comforts.Still wanting to build an old model A out of the bits in the shed. I am a life member of our local club since my teen years, Enjoy NSRA membership and the NSRA family as well, Attend all the NSRA event we can.The road trip is part of the adventure. My wife and I get out and about as much as we can cruising with buddies. Did a week run down to the South Island in our 32 3w and hadn't blast enjoying friends and beautiful scenery , then headed north on an 1100 ml road trip over a week to a 1200 car cruising event , then on the way had a fun skid at the dirt drags then off to the city for a strictly traditional event ,the hot rod blowout did 2500 Mls .This is what it's all about kids get out and drive, build memories.
