- '46 jail bar...Not your Grampa's pickup truck!
I got interested in messing around with old heaps at sixteen. Started when my uncle helped me fix the pooped out 216 in my '50 Chevy pickup. Enjoyed doing that and learned a lot. I was hooked!
I worked after school and weekends at a small machine shop, making two dollars an hour, so needless to say, I tried to do everything myself and make due with what was available.
