'23 T roadster
Flathead FED
1964 - First car was a '58 Plymouth - got a 354 hemi from a '56 Imperial, rebuilt it and and dropped it in. Next built a chopped '32 Ford 5 window on a '34 frame with a 392 hemi, torqueflite and '57 Olds rear. Adapted another 392 Chrysler to a late model (1969) torqueflite and put it in a '53 F100 1/2 ton with dodge p/up front and rear axles, 3.55 posi and great brakes. This was a tow car for my 426 Hemi powered '32 Bantam B-Altered 9.70s at 145 in 1972. Moved into BB/FC before I got out of racing about 1978. My son heard the stories and bugged me to build a street rod with him so now I'm back into it with the '23 T. We have a '60s Bird body (see back pages of old magazines) and a pile of my leftover parts and some fresh tubing.Interact
