I was raised around cars,my dad would get cars to cut apart for junk & if they ran at all I'd run them till they wouldn't any more. I bought my 1st car('67Chevelle)when I was 14 & ended up owning it for 8yrs.and countless cars after that. I worked at the racetracks from age 12 & started working in bodyshops & garages at 15 for 18yrs. working on everyone elses cars, now finally trying to build my own. But after a divorce & hard times I had to sell most of my big tools(welder, etc) ,now it just makes it harder to work on cars, I feel like a new backyard mechanic with just the basic tools. Also my health has gone downhill with having several heart attacks & flatlining Feb'04 & tripple by-pass surgery July'05 and other problems its a slow go but I will eventually get my '41 on the road, oldschool style as cheap as I can.
