I'be been obsessed by cars since I was a kid growing up in the 60's. I loved standing at the magazine rack in the grocery store while my mom shopped, once in a while she'd relent and buy Rod&Custom, my favorite then and now.

We've had a bunch of cars since we got married in '74, and have kept the '48 Pontiac convert bought that summer. Not the best one, nor the one I probably should have kept, but it's stayed. I'm getting more into the car hobby again after a decade long "hiatus". Even tho we've had cars, we had quit going to events, and just used them as drivers.

I can see light at the end of the tunnel with the Diamond T one ton pickup project. This thing I'm building to tow our '46 Spartan Manor, a 25' riveted aluminum travel trailer, with. It should pull like a train. I'm excited.

Oh, we pull our travel trailer and boat with the hot rods. All over the country. To my mind, the trailer belongs in back of the Hot Rod. Period.
