    THE HEAPS - OLD DMINION
I owned an auto restoration / body shop business for 30 years, I'm now retired and building cars for a hobby. I built and raced stock cars in the 60s. dirt drag motorcycles in the 70s. Drag cars with my son in the 80s and crewed for Jim McClure and his wife Phillis in the 80s on there world record setting Top Fuel Harley Davidson. I started building engines for local oval track racer Trevor Falls and helped him win his first Mini Stock Track Championship at Langley Speedway in Hampton Virginia. Trevor moved up to grand stock after that and won 2 more track championships in his 2nd and 3rd year in that class using my engine's. I also built engines for Jody and Jeromy McCormick's winning Chevrolet late model stock cars as well as for Terry Carroll's # 90 Ford late model stock car.
My latest endeavor is building a XO/PP truck for a record attempt at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2017
I am a self thought automotive engineer and have studied from M.I.T..S publications the Internal Combustion Engine for many years. I am also a seasoned chassis builder, fabricator, and NAVY CERTIFIED welder for tig, mig, and stick applications.
My father thought me the machinist trade as well as carpentry. I took drafting and metal shop in high school
Many people have helped me along the way and have poured there knowledge into me and I could not have done the things I love so much without there help.

I am now retired and building my dream cars...
    I have finished...
1933 ford 3w coupe w/a Blown Small Block Chevy 355
1951 f1 ford truck, Flathead powered, t5 tranny.
almost finished a 1941 Studebaker truck, heavily modified chopped, channeled. slammed air ride, Quick Change rear, late model stock car wide five wheels, wildwood brakes, hubs and rotors.
