Just moved to Richmond Virginia from the uk, native new zealander, first car was a 66 impala i got at 17 all on the road and quite tidy, saved hard for it. when i had enough experience i roof chopped it, shaved the handles, put a 9" diff in it, some 10" smoothies with 295s, built a 496 big block for it and a beefed th400, i learnt alot about cars, engines, automotive engineering while doing this. after about 5 years it had all the best of everything and it was either supercharge it or move on because i was bored, i decided id rather go low and slow so swapped it for the mintest original unrestored 52 chev i could possibly have got and started again this time wanting a leadsled instead of a musclecar style......it has now custom 2 link rear with coilovers and 3.5 salisbury lsd, mild 400 smallblock chev and beefed shift kitted th700.... waiting for me to get home one day and roof chop it too. i wanted to keep my 52 more tradidtional so havent used anything tech or billet and have used old second hand parts where i can, but dont be fooled as all the internals of everything even though they look old on the outside are all fresh inside haha. my favourite car aswell hasto be the mid 70s aussie xa xb xc falcon coupes ... so thats me
