55Glide

Born in '55. Grew up eating and breathing hot rods,customs,and drag racing as a kid. Watching my father and friends were a big influence. I started with AMT kits,slot cars,and ape hanger bikes,and haven't out grown it yet. I'm too poor to do what I really want with vehicles these days (thanks Donna),but will never give up hope. Slowly putting together a li'l get around '67 truck from gathered parts. I like stuff built with an era in mind up to '72. Been lurking here a bit but never registered. I've run older GM trucks all my life cuz that's what I make a living out of. I'm Special-K on 67-72chevytrucks website. My favorite cars are Club Coupes,Bubble Tops,and pre-66 Muscle...most of all Pontiac.
