My Dad had cool cars in the 50's and I was raised in the Southern California car culture. I had cool/fast cars in the mid-1970's through High School,(54 Willys Overland Wagon with a '64 Corvette 283, '64 Malibu SS w/327 4bbl and P/G, '70 Chevelle SS 396 w/TH400, 4:11 Posi, 11:1 TRW pistons, Engle split profile solid lifter cam, etc. ad naseum), and built engines for several friend's muscle cars. In the early 80's, I helped build and worked on NHRA Super Gas and Super Comp cars in Phoenix. My military career took me out of the country and away from racing, but, some years after retiring from the military, in 2006 I inherited my great-grandmothers 1956 Chevrolet BelAir, 4Dr Sedan. I am currently performing a Resto-Mod on this car and it will be a Hot Rod!Interact
