I've lived in Eastern South Dakota all my life. I grew up with an auto mechanic for a dad. He's the one responsible for my interest in cars. I was first hooked on muscle cars, as that's the only type of "hot rod" I saw in these parts. In the past ten years I've been exposed to more traditional hot rods and customs by going to area car shows(not nearly enough of them here in SD!!!), reading books and magazines on the subject and gleaning as much as I can off the internet. I'm glad I've found THE HAMB as this looks like the best place to learn.

I'm a collector of diecast cars of all scales, so I get a "little" bit of a car fix from that.
