I got a torch for Christmas when I was 14. My first project was raking the frame on my Sting Ray bicycle. My first car was a '66 GTO in high school. I built it out of 2 wrecked cars when I was 15. I later traded it for a '57 Chevy wagon, I sold that and bought a 55. (It was around the time that "Two Lane Blacktop" was out). I also had a chopped '34 Ford Coupe that I never finished, a little out of my league back then. I built and raced some dirt track cars from '74 to about '86, then the motorcycle fever hit! 2 decades and 4 or 5 bikes later, I've decided to build another car, maybe that '34 that I let slip away so many years ago!
