I was into reading car mags before puberty! While in HS, I built a Rod back in '62. It was a 29 Ford coupe powered by a 50 Olds 303 V8, channled over a 32 Ford frame. The "Stud" as we called it, was an original "rat rod'. No fenders, black lacquer with white panel striping, red engine and axles. It was well known in the Twin Cities, MN and was a great "street racer" running 9" cheater slicks, 4.10 rear end with an early B&M trans. Very quick to 60! Shut down 409s!Interact
