Originally from Pasadena, CA. Vividly remember the Pasadena Roadster Club at Big Bear, Dave Mitchell's red 29 roadster pickup, bug bit me. Built a 30 Ford roadster in high school with a 324 Olds, (judge made me sell it), then a 40 Ford 2-door with a 56 Pontiac, a 34 sedan delivery with a 265 Chev, then got into drag racing. Got a used Chassis Research and dropped a 296 Ardun, partnering with Phil Brown, then partnered with Bob Kielty with a Doug Robinson-built B/FD with a bln Desoto, then Vietnam in the Navy, and then another race car with Don Wilson the original "Panic" AA/FA. Ran out of money, went to college, became a college professor and gave up hot rodding for years. Then a couple of years ago noticed back yard neighbor grinding on a Model A frame, and watched as it evolved into a chopped and channeled 29 A sedan with a 406 Chev. Got me interested again and I decided to join. Am really impressed by the depth of knowledge and the determination to keep the old times rolling. Glad to be hereInteract
