Born & raised in city of Bell CA, home of Bell Auto Parts, the hot bed of Hot Rods, Racecars, Kustoms & Fastass Sikkles! My first trip to B-ville was in '54 with Mom & Dad, I was 11 at the time, my older brother took me to Santa Ana Drags, Lions, San Gabriel, Colton & the Smokers March Meet in Bakersfield when I was 13-14 years old, we spent many a night at Ascot Park watching the Midgets, Sprinters & Bikes back in the 60's & 70's, I've been hooked on racing since. Made my first trip to Indy for qualifying in 86 & back for the race in 91. I retired after work'n forty years for one of Los Angeles's oldest billboard companies as a sign painter & pictorial artist. I'm currently re-building a '40-41 Ford PU, it's going to have a 1950's hot rod/custom look, chopped 2" & sit'n low, factory FI'd 283, 700R, 9in, disc's all 4 corners, 41 Stude taillights, steelies w/sm caps, SW gauges, old style 1940's flames, speed holes, engine turning and lots of louvers! Not a fast truck but a safe truck.
