About
I was born in '65, married with 3 kids, I've been at this since I was 14. Built a pure hot rod fenderless roadster with a REO truck cab and a 454 in high school when most of my friends were playing ball and chasing girls. My early influences were a pile of 60's Hot Rod magazine's my mom's boyfriend gave me, and one dude in my small town in Iowa that daily drove a rat powered t-bucket. I then spent my time with a 71 Chevelle, then a Vega, then a 64 Dodge 330. I bought a finished 29A roadster to commute in for a couple of years, but then I started a family and needed more seating. I built my current 53 Studebaker for cruising and landspeed racing. It has an ex- Lee Beard top fuel aluminum 426 based hemi. In October 2011 I realized the dream, I got into the 200 MPH club at Maxton NC. Also my frequent driver is a 1939 Willys 4 door with a 289 ford. It's a 70's California hot rod. In 2019 I bought a rare 1940 American Bantam Riviera convertible. Been working on it since April of 2021.Interact
