Owned and raced '57 chevys and a 'glass 55... in the 60's. Old school is the ONLY school. Drove sports cars and british bikes in the 70's. Road Raced formula cars in the 80's, SCCA. You can't beat road racing for track time. I like WWII warbirds and I work with the Aluminum Overcast B-17 every fall when it comes to the midwest, Lewis University Airport, around Labor Day, usually. I make what I think are cool desk lamps from pistons. I use old stuff like Caddy and Nailhead slugs but I also have 427 Chevy lamps and Indy Offy piston lamps in work. Some are made from aircraft pistons, even big old Chris Craft V8 pistons. I'm enjoying building new ones and some are selling very well... like the Ford Flathead model.
