the tanks don't work you do...I have them on my woody,.. came that way...they put the fillers in the wheel wells so I don't alwaays have...

There are two tags located on the passenger side firewall. The upper one has the model; Deluxe or Special Deluxe and thecvehicle serial...

Vin tags were on the body on the passenger side cowl. At least that's where mine is on my '39 and pretty sure '37-'38 are also.

Depending on when it was built as a hot rod/custom it may be as simple as the builder thinking that the 37 nose was better looking than...
