1950 Chevrolet Ambulance, Rat Rod. Working on fabrication mostly. The most challenging so far is the steering. I'm running a BB 454 with blower. No room for stock steering. Went with rack and pinion and aftermarket steering column. Works great!

Started in Rod's in the 60's, 1st car a 1946 Ford Business Coupe. Sold it and bought a 1959 Elcamino. Put a 396 325 hp engine, 400 Turbo and 411 rearend. FAST! for a heavy. Later in life I hit my 2nd childhood and bought a beat 1964 Dodge Dart GT. Buckets 270 factory 4 speed. Upgraded to a 340 with purple shaft cam and AFB. Ran it for a while, then sold it to buy a new S-10. Bad idea. Should have kept it. I have a buddy building a 1953 chev Rat Rod. I've been hankerin to get back into Rodin. Ran across this 1950 Ambulance by "chance". It's going to be my RatBlance. I"ve been making considerable progress on fabrication of the floor board and firewall. I've also cut down a 59 chev impala dash to fit. Fun all of it!
