I wanted this car since I was 13 years old. I'm now 68. I've loved Oldsmobiles from the 1940's until they made one that no longer LOOKED like an Olds...the 1958 Uglymobile. Lost my 1975 Cougar a year & a half ago. I've also owned a '54 Merc Monterey conv, '57 Olds 88 conv, '61 Olds F-85, '48 Olds 76, '67 Ford Galaxie XL (390 cid), replacement '67 Ford Galaxie (289 cid). As a kid, devised my own rear window defroster for my '54 Merc conv; also re-routed heat to driver's side in that car; 12 years ago devised my own delay windslield wipers;
