grew up in the backwoods of northern california, mom had a '49 plymouth special deluxe, 3 on the tree that was often home more than home was. i bought it off her for $600, learned to drive without brakes on mountain roads, had to sell her in houston. 20 years later i finally am back in a classic, and it's like coming home in every way. what having a classic means to me far surpasses style. it's a way of life, of good old fashioned values, and freedom from crappy modern cars.
