I'm 21 years old when I made this profile (3-3-11). I've grown up listening to my dad tell me about all the cars he's had in his lifetime and I remember when I was a young child, he had a 69' Camaro SS. It was all original except for the engine which was the same motor that came in the car but with few mods. But he had to sell it because you know how most women are, they "GRIPE" because the car is just sitting there. My dad says its the biggest mistake he's ever made. But anyways, back to me. I've grown up watching car shows and awing over 60's hot rods (Except Fords). I dislike the looks of them. By the time I turned 16 and watching my brother and his friends and several of my neighbors with their rods. I guess I have a bunch of gearheads in my hood. LOL!!! I really started learning more about them when watching them work and surfing the enet and magazines.
When I turned 18 I had a 89' Toyota 4X4 and got into rock crawling a lot but found out that it is a very expensive hobby and always breaking parts. But now that I'm 21 and got a good paying full time job and lots of money. I decided to buy my first classic, a 31' Chevy Coupe. And if you are wondering if I'm building a rat rod, NO I'm not. I think thats a half-ass way to build a car that has potential. I plan on spending the real money to get it back together. I want people to turn their heads when I drive by and remember my car I drive (A Real Fender less Rod). I hope to have more in my lifetime and really looking forward to getting advice, tips, and parts from Y'All. Thanks for your time and getting to know me.
