Retired iron worker. I still work on early iron to supplement my meager social security. Been a hot rodder all of my life. My dad was an old stock car racer after the war. He died when I was only 21. He helped me build my first car, a 1940 Ford coupe. I sold it and bought a used 1957 2 door sedan. I bought a complete 1963 fuelly motor , less the injection but with a 300 HP intake from the local Chevy dealership for $374.77. I added an Isky cam, aluminum flywheel, headers from Honest Charlie, and a 4.56 posi rear end. It made a great street racer. I told everyone it was a bored 283.
