1966 Pontiac Catalina Custom known as Kool Kat

1983 Buick Regal mild custom known as Mama Said
    KKOA
Mike and I have been car folks since forever. In fact we met while Draggin Douglas back in 1968. It was cars that bought us together, and here we are today, old drag racers that are now old cruisers. CRUZIN is a whole lot less Expensive!!!

We joined the Kustom Kemps of America back in 2000. Our first show was the last Leadsled Spectacular here in Wichita, also the first time my Regal was entered into a show.

We bought a certain 66 Pontiac in 2003, just after my Regal was stolen and stripped, Mike found this 66 while scouring the used car lots, trying to sway me away from my Regal. When he found the car he wanted to buy it for me, but since I am not into Land Yachts, I shamelessly used that 66 to keep my Regal, Mike turned that Aqua and Rust 66 into Kool Kat within six months after we bought it, and then Mike got my Regal road worthy a year after he finished the first phase on Kool Kat. His friends were ribbing him about the Regal, saying "Mama says the car stays huh?". I overheard the ribbing and dubbed the car Mama Said. Our friends laughed then, but they aren't laughing today, we are giving the car a Grand National look, and show it as a muscle car today. Kool Kat is considered a radical custom, Mama Said is a mild custom Muscle car.

This is the first year since getting Kool Kat that Mike and I have been showing both cars.
