I'm self taught in designing automobiles. Prefer Ratrods and concepts.Dare to be different I always say.Recently completed auto tech school to learn more about cars.Finished at 95% for someone who never had shop experience.I'm not interested in working for anyone but to build my own car. First engine building experience at 9 years old tearing down a Rambler V8 at home,rebuilt a Honda 305 twin(I know,basic crap) at age 17 w/o instructions,restarted succesfully.Drove my first car at 10,dad's 1965 Ford Galaxie 500.
Looking to attend a Transportation design school.Lived thru the first gas shortage as a kid and saw the end of the muscle car era.Currently interested in alternative fuel vehicles.Have interest in automotive history.Prefer the cars of the Sixties.Have worked on restoring some vintage drag cars.
Would like to learn to build chassis and hand form body panels,fenders and so on.
