i am a japanese chinese american. my japanese is now 4th generation japanese american. i grew up in orlando. father is from LA we r deep in to hot rods. great uncle used to race with stone woods and cook back in the day. that what got my dad hooked at 13 . his first car was a willys coupe raised up gasser style . after that got deep in to corvettes where him and my godfather drag racedcompetivly threw the 1970s in NHRA. they owned a shop called the korvette shop in fl. then in 1977 my father bought his first duece . it was a 1932 3w coupe unchopped. he put crager ss wheels on it and real fat ones on the back that stuck out. then in 1979 decided to change stuff on the car fist was the chasis. he payed someone to do it and they fucked it all up twice. then it sat for 10 years. until he decided to make the chasis himself and had his friend chop it 3 3/4 inches . so as i was a little kid i saw all this happen. i grew up in swap meets and streetrod showes from la to fl all my life. attended the gatornationls in gainesville since i was 3 and saw don garlits race and bob glidden my 2 favorites . but now i am living in thailand where i am trying to help start a rod shop called thor kustoms. my boy thor is building a 50 merc and just got a model a sedan body . he has alot of talent. and with my design and knowledge of street rods we should make a pretty nice rod.
