In high school, I wanted to join the hot rod club. My application was refused because I had no car. Got my first car in college. Have had many since then: 1956 Buick Roadmaster Convert, 1968 Mustang FB 4-speed, 1971 HemiCuda Convert, 1970, '73, '74 Trans-Ams, 1970 & '71 440+6 SuperBees, 1970 440+6 Cuda, 1967 Shelby GT-500 (I'm in the first SAAC Registry ever printed!), 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst, several Rallye 350 Olds, several 442 convert, 1970 Buick GS 455 A/C convert, 1970 GS 455 Stage 1 w/AC, 1969 GS 400 Stage 1 A/C Convert, 1969 428 CobraJet Torino, 1973 Cosworth Vega (interesting story), 1970 AAR Cuda (interesting story), 1968 & 1969 427 3X2 A/C 4-speed Corvette converts, 1965 396 Corvette convert, 1961 & 1967 XK-E roadsters, 1977 & 1986 XJ-Ss, 1970(?) Porsche 911T (hated it), 1971 1972 1973 1974 Porsche 914s, 1970 1972 1973 Fiat 124 spiders... I have left out many. There are wonderful stories for most: for example, at one time I nearly traded the HemiCuda Convert for a Lola T-70, and another time for one of the last Cobras (428, automatic - real, not a clone). Good times / bad times... great cars.
