Ike's history goes way back to Muroc in 1931, winning one of the first speed trails held there in his Riley-headed '29 roadster.
I'm not 100% certain, but I do believe the 8cyl cars had the checkerboard pattern and 100mph speedometer, and the V12 cars had engine turned...
