Cobrawannabe

It all started at the age of four with my first car show. While my Dad has never been much of a gearhead (he is past those days), we found car shows to be a fun common interest. He was sure to expose me to both modern cars and the historical hot rods and muscle cars of his glory days. While he spoke fondly of both, I took to the cars that started it all, back in Vic's days. I have passion for all things Flathead, Stomberg, Holley, Offenhauser, Isky, Mallory, etc. Purists truly and sincerely bother me, though I dislike modern engine swaps. While I am currently a poor college student and am having a tough time affording the car I have finally found as my hot rod ('69 Maverick); I find time to work on friend's projects on the weekends. My favorite hobby is rebuilding and restoring classic Holley 2bbls, and hope some day to run an Offy intake with three of them strapped to it on top of a 352. What a cool combo! Oh, and I hate automatic transmissions!
