About
I was raised old school and have stayed old school to this day.I enjoy the lifestyles of the 40's,50's and 60's. I have built many, many vehicles for myself and also others for show, race, ect. My grandfather was a fabricator/welder and was always building something in the garage and I was always fascinated how he could take a pile of scrap and make something cool and useful from it.I applied my fascination to cars and truck and have been hooked since I built my first hot rod when I was 14 with the help of nobody but myself.I used a lawn tractor and wagon to go to the local junkyard and rummage for parts I needed.I work on a tight budget on every project and usually have to sell a finished project to purchase another project. My 48 P/U is one of the only projects I was able to keep and continue to modify and fab on over the years and have once again torn apart for another transformation from a street rod to a gasser.GASSERS are the true hot rods in my book as far as fabbing and enginuity and I praise all the barn built rods and racers of the days gone by.Interact
