I have owned numerous domestic and import "cool cars", but that was when I was younger. I never had the work space or funds to do them right back then. Interesting cars from my past include a 1966 Corvair Monza 110 Coupe, 1971 VW Fastback, 1973 Opel Ascona, 1972 Buick Skylark GS, and a 1974 Olds Cutlas Salon. I really want to take my time with the 1963 Bel Air, and make it something fast and fun. I bought it last week (Dec 2007). Economics are still an issue, but with time it should work out. It has a basic straight six with power glide. I'm going to live with that for a bit, and get the interior straightened out first.

I've missed out on some interesting cars that were great values. I just waited too long and they disappeared before I could move on them. Those were a 1965 Ford Falcon Convertible and a 1963 Olds F85. As you can see, my tastes have changed over the years. I really love the shapes and styling from the early to mid 1960's.
