If this happens when on the brakes or around corners, I would check the float level. Too low= starvation Too high gives fuel slosh and flooding...
Very cool. Some one needs to build that pickup in full scale. That thing has awesome lines.
Look up Vintage Trans Am racing. Those wheels were very popular in that series. Maybe some of the older drivers/owners can add some info.
Bore the ends of the axle and then just use Ford spindles.
Factory backup lights and 4way flashers would indicate 1966 on a Chevy anyways.
Damper ring on harmonic balance may have slipped. stockers are not that good after a few years.
Does homemade count as billet?
