Dart Man

Worked at Green Valley Raceway in Smithfield,Texas during the Golden Years (62,63,64,65). Worked up to head of stock car classification and ran the staging lanes. Was at Green Valley the day it opened. Was hired by the original owner/builder, Bill McClure. Used to classify Gene Snow when he had a 62 Dodge 383, and Bill Hielscher when he first ran a 57 Chevy 283. Went to high school with Chip Woodall. (LOL)! Was in the Navy from '66-'72. Worked on missile radar aboard a guided missile destroyer. Home port in Pearl Harbor (4+ yrs). Three 7 month tours overseas. Vietnam veteran.
Won "Bug In" bracket race at Hawaii Raceway park in '71. (Whoopee!)
