My great grandfather was Claude R (Raymond) Newhouse and he raced back in the early teens on the 1900's. 1913 I know he raced in Galveston and he was a good friend of Wild Bill Endicott. My grandfather told me he drove on the salt flasts and broke records .. not sure if that's just bragging or if my ggf really did. all that would know the answers are deceased and all our photos of our ggf and racing were stolen from my grandfathers house. so I just wanted to know a bit about my gff's racing history.
