I have been a "car Guy" since my first car at 16. Having owned 4- 1955 chevys, 1- 1956 1- 1957, 1 1956 Ford Crown Victoria. Also several others of questionable stature along the way. Am currently in the process of installing a Straight axle under my 55 Chevy Hardtop. Other mods of significance i have done to it ,,, I believe (according to the folks at Auto-loc-Hoffman Corp) I may be the first to have installed a set of " Lambo Doors" on a 55 Chevy!!! Let me tell you here,, that was one X#$@ZX? of a job but it was well worth it. The look is sensational. I hope to get my son to assist me to post a pictorial on the net after I get the straight axle project completed.
