I used to attend races at Vallejo Speedway in Vallejo, CA every Saturday night with my Grandpa in the early to mid 1960s. We used to watch the likes of Leroy Geving (my fav) Chet Thompson, Phil "Bang Bang" Pedlar, Larry Dimitz, Julian Castro, Dave Logan, Steve Mench, Gene Dudley, Lee Dudley, Jim Kaiser, Rich Govan, PeeWee Waighbright, Paul Proctor, Del Quin . . . just to name the ones I can off the top of my head. Good times!
