I was 14 and bought my first car, a 1929 Model A. My dad had to drive it home. I drove this car throughout high school. The only thing not original on this car was a Mallory distributor I got from JC Whitney and it increased the horsepower quite a bit. After high school I went to 1 year jr college and then I went into the Navy for 10 years. I got out of the Navy in 1975 and started to build my Model A into a street rod. I got a TCI engineered chassis, a rebuilt Ford 302 (yes I was making it all Ford) a beefed up C4 tranny, etc. etc.etc. I never did finish it as about 5 years later I lost my job and had to sell it. But later on (1990) I bought a T Bucket, got it all rechromed etc and had lots of fun with it. Sold it and traded another Model A (all original) for a 1942 Ford pickup with a 351C. Messed with this truck for a while and got married in the bed of it to my present wife (no. 2) I sold it as I married into a 1971 Challenger and we completely redid it (mostly had other people do it) Paint, upholstery etc. Sold this car about 10 years later and then nothing but wishing for another until 2010 when I retired and paid off our house and found another car. It's a 1965 Chevy Nova 4 door (we couldn't afford a 2dr) completely redone in showroom condition. It has a 250 6 cylinder (not original) and I am going to soup it up a bit.Interact
