Belonged to The Motor Menders Rod and Custom Car Club from 1960 to 1965. (Motor Menders is the oldest Organized Car Club on the east Coast----1956). Helped run the drags at U.S. 30, during the period I belonged to the Motor Menders. Worked as a mechanic from 1960 to 1966 at the Pennsylvania Garage and Ammon R. Smith. From 1966 to 1974 had own repair garage. interested in street rods and customs all my life. Was a partner in a "B" gas dragster the years spent with the Motor Menders. Had a Caddy powered 51 Chevy hardtop with a LaSalle 3 speed trans, in the early 60's, as my every day driver.
