Dad got me started when I was 10, Im now 40. He was an Aerospace design engineer with a passion for stanley steamers and all things mechanical. I have been blessed with his gifts and love to create and fabricate and wear the dirty hand badge of honor. I wish i could draw better, my hands arent proportioned and my abilities from learning calligraphy are now shaky. I stood in a field with a hot wrench lit and was given the birds and bees speech while cutting up a 40 pickup for transport, how good is that! I did my first engine swap at the age of 12 by hanging from the chain hoist and hooking my feet under the bumper, I built my 53 from spare parts at age 15 with a 300 buck start. I owe alot of who I am to the man responsible for redesigning the o-rings on the space shuttle boosters that put us back into space as well as took every individual opportunity to attend his children s individual development and curiosity.
