My dad raced roadsters (jalopies) at balboa stadium in San Diego before the Korean war broke out ! Neat thing though ( being in the army ) he met and was best of friends with Jim Woods ,they would meet up a couple times a month for lunch and talk racing, Till my Dad passed away in Aug.2001 When other kids were getting into trouble my dad was taking me and my brothers to a car show or to the races in el cajon, and later on he was helping me pull a motor or two to rebuilt it! Man I sure miss that guy!!! Me I feel like time is going by faster than ever!!!!Interact
