Im 26 from New Mexico, yes that is part of the U.S.. First off i'd have to say my grandpa and brother got me into cars. I can remember being a kid and spending a weekends helping them work on their cars, then getting that first tear down the highway after putting the new speedparts on. I was hooked. Since then i've had the bug and its only gotten worse. When i got to high school i was lucky enough to get a job as a mechanic/ fabricator doing anything and everything. While being mentored i learned skills people spend thousands to learn and i was getting paid to do what i loved. Now i just work on cars in my free time and think of opening up a custom shop when i can afford it.
