54 year old graybeard . I,ve dug old iron of all kinds since I was a kid. When every one I ran with was building muscle cars I was messing with a 51 chevy. I did the family thing the hard way so I have always done my own repairs. I inheirited enough money tobuy my 40 Ford four door [street rod] .I didn't think of it as a "Hot rod" just a cool ride. I found a 36 Plymouth 5 window coupe that had been a street rod for a high school kid in the late '70s. I bought it as a basket case and am collecting parts for my no billet "HOT ROD" . I have plans to chop it later on but right now I just want toget it on the road.
