fieldofcars

My dad passed away last year and now we have his field of cars. And I mean it is a field full of cars and trucks. I am learning fast about them and lots more to learn I am sure. Dad's field was his treasure and he didn't talk about it very much to my sister and me so we kind of got a shock when we finally went up and checked it out. He started collecting when he was 17 and passed away at 67 so the cars has been there for awhile. I mean we knew about it but he never really opend up to us girls about it much and only a few other car guys knowed he had them hidden away.
My husban retired from the ARMY after 22 years so we were gone for most of the years dad was collcting the cars and had little knolage about the cars. It will be 2 years now and we have learned much about the cars and about people. We made a few mistakes at first but now I am alot smarter about people and love the old cars.

I have taken so many car lovers out to my field and several cars have found a new home and that makes me glad and sad also. I know I can't keep them all and they will be back on the road again by some one if not me. But I will still miss the old cars and trucks. Everyone is so nice and thanks me for taking them out to see the old rigs like it is a bother for me to open the gate for them but they dont understand, I really love going out there and looking also even tho it is my field of cars it nevers gets old going out there and looking for me. I enjoy it evey time I go out there. I guess you really have to love the old cars to feel that way.

Sorry I haven't been on for a long time. 20913 was a very bad year for me health wise. I sold all my field of cars and kept a few for me to work on when I feel better. It is nice to know they went to good homes and maybe one day I will see most of them back on the road again.
