23 FORD T BUCKET RAT ROD w/39' ford truck drivetrane
39' Flathead V8-60,Toploader,3speed,banjo rearend,
wide 5 back wheels, old spoke rims up front, etc.
Well, I guy my age should be into muscle cars, but i'm not.
I'm into model A's T's ,flatheads, hotrods, rat rods.
I've always been into cars sence I was i kid running around the garage and junk yards in Mississippi. At my uncels shop I used to pull parts and asked alot of questions about cars.
My Dad showed me alot. R.I.P.
Mostly cars from the late 50's would come through the shop.
One day this model T coupe came in and it had a flathead w/ dual carbs, headers, and just was mean!
The moment I heard it, I fell in love with that flathead sound!
I went after a life playing music and this took me away from being able to own hotrods.
I came off the road after many years and was going to build a car with my Dad, but he passed away last year. So I bought this one of a kind T bucket to finish in his name.
NOW,i've been searching the enternet for information on v8-60s,flatheads,speed tricks,Kustomizing, and other things pertaining to the whole traditional HOT ROD culture. i've bought books on it, talked to old car guys about it, and so on But this is the best site out there on the net!
I CAN WORK ON CARS, I just wanted to clear that up.
I'm here to learn and I will respect the people and the culture
that this site represents.
My Dad would've liked this site.
I am on a quest for knowledge, i hope to find it here.
Thank You'
