I won my first trophy on a Cushman scooter, in 1949, won my first dragracing trophy with an Oldsmobile V-8 powered dragster that I built myself, and drove to the track for my first drag race. Won my first dragboat trophy at the first drag
boat race I entered, and recently won the first Autocross I had ever seen. And in between, won the top fuel Championship in both cars, and boats, and so far the only person to have won both. I have been , and continue to be very blessed, and thank the Good Lord every day for granting me the desires of my heart!
