Fred Hire

Started at age 15, 1956 with a 40 Ford tudor w/ full race 48 merc engine.
Formed Push Rods Club in Waltham, MA. in 1957.
The club raced a National Record holding B/M Roadster from 1959 through 1963. It had an injected Nailhead in a radically channeled model A body. We competed as far west as Cordova, Ill. taking our class at the World Series Fuel Meet in 1960. We also ran at Detroit Nats. in 1960 and many Eastern strips.
