My Uncle, Richard Miles, raced modified stock in the fifties. I was introduced to race cars when I was young, two and a half. Before his win at the 1992 Indy 500, Troy won at the Michigan State Fairgrounds. He saw me before the race and put me on his lap in the #98 he used at Indy, and I rode with him in his Victory Lap. I have been an Indy fan ever since then. I prize my 1/16th Franklin Mint Troy Ruttman #98 Agajanian Special. My dad was friends with Eddie Sacks. We also never missed the Silvercup Unlimited Hydroplane Races on the Detroit River. I will never forget the irony of The Silvercup Bread Co. handing the Silvercup to their competitor, The Schaefer Bread Co's boat, Miss Such Crust.Interact
