I've been into hot rods & (what we now call) vintage drag racing my entire life, but I've never built a car from the ground up. I'm building an engine for a car I don't yet have; perhaps a bad move, but I'm lucky to have experienced rod builders and professional engine buiders/racers as friends to keep my vision in check. Working on small engine projects as a kid, in addition to working in the automotive aftermarket for a few years, has given me enough experience to get started. I'm hoping the folks on the H.A.M.B. can help keep me on track! *Update* A '53 Merc is about to join the family. Looking forward to getting started.
